Description
Hexens audited LayerZero’s Upgradeable EVM OApp/OFT report on November 1, 2024, under the Bridge category, identifying 7 issues in total.
This audit focused on Upgradeable EVM OApp/OFT LayerZero contracts, which represent the upgradeable version of the OFT contract. The implementation derivatives are similar to the already deployed Frax OFT tokens, but with a preference for OpenZeppelin V5 contracts. Our security assessment was a full review of the two smart contracts, spanning a total of 3 days. During our audit we have identified several minor severity vulnerabilities and code optimisations. Finally, all of our reported issues were acknowledged or fixed by the development team and consequently validated by us. We can confidently say that the overall security and code quality have increased after completion of our audit.
